This #Thursday 15th of March, it’s time to get some music therapy and get lost on the dance floor with pumping House mixes from our guest DJ Ben Goldman.
Nearly two decades ago, Ben Goldman began his musical voyage as DJ Benz. Born and raised in Chicago, the birthplace of House music, his dance music education came from an immersive decade of 90’s raving and event productions. He credits local legends Derrick Carter, DJ Sneak, Paul Johnson, Mark Farina, and the French pioneers Daft Punk, as very important influences who helped shape his sound and style.
In 2000, as label boss and A&R, Goldman put his passion and dedication into a hot Chicago imprint, Olive Records, which produced a slew of super funky disco House-influenced vinyl and digital releases.
For more than 10 years now, Ben has been continuing his mission of spreading the love for House music across SE Asia. Keep an eye out for the new collective “Music Matters,” showcasing the best in regional talent.
