DJ Bliss’ music career took off upon the release of his first album ‘the projects’ with BMI, entering the TOP 10 at Virgin Megastores (2003). This led him to win the Middle East Regional ‘PALME DJ of the Year Award’ in 2004.
By 2006, Bliss was a radio DJ for the Number 1 music station in the UAE ‘Radio’ 2011 brought along Marwan’s first International tour commencing in Amsterdam through to London, Zurich, Munich, Marbella and Antwerp ending with Marrakesh and Beirut. The feedback was so successful that it resulted in a second international tour the following year. In 2013 Marwan focused on spending more studio time in order to produce and feature on his own material. This resulted in two hit songs, “Let It Go” featuring Kardinal Offishall and “Writer’s Block”, the lead track of Wyclef Jean’s April ‘Showers’ album. To add to DJ BLISS’ international tours and hit songs. He has also played at some of the most prestigious events on the planet such as the Dubai World Cup, the Abu Dhabi’s Formula 1 and the opening ceremony of the Buri Khalifa in 2010. His highlights have been to warm up for stars like Beyonce and Aerosmith as well as working alongside the UAE’s Royal Family. Those high profile events have made his talent well respected in the Middle East and this is reflected by the various awards which he has amassed amongst the years. From TimeOut Nightlife Awards to Cosmopolitan Middle East, they keep him striving to achieve more in the industry.
