After a much needed break, This Week’s Beat Drop with the best club events in Thailand is back!
A lot has happened while we were away including many great Thailand DJ Festival developments. We are in the process of getting everything up to date so please bear with us.
We thought in our long absence that the new Chi Ultra Lounge may launch, but appears to be in the final stages of décor. I am sure the Chi people can’t wait to open.
Bangkok Chi Ultra Lounge
Along the lines of Chi, no not a club, but a restaurant put on by some of Chi people is Day of the Dead Bar on Khaosan road. A very unique décor inside with Mexican food from Sunrise Tacos and awesome drinks! If you like Mexican food and margaritas, you should check out Day of the Dead Bar on Khaosan road.

Thailand’s own DJ Nakadia has several upcoming event dates in Thailand. In December Nakadia will be performing at Live RCA Bangkok. In January Nakadia is scheduled to perform at Illuzion Phuket and Cha Cha Moon Koh Samui. The January dates are with Sven Vath.
While on our break the Warp Music Festival in Pattaya occurred. We had the good fortune to be there and it was an awesome show. Sound was good, lights was good, and the DJs were great! We are still getting our things in order, but below is a RAW video taken at Warp Music Festival and some pictures. More to come when we have more time to sort things out.
Can you believe we are just a couple weeks away from Waterzonic 2015? Year is flying by fast! Waterzonic as you probably know by now is the Water and Music Festival that will be once again headlined by Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike.
Many new developments when we were away in the Thailand DJ Festival area that we are trying to get caught up with. One is the full line-up of the 808 Festival Bangkok 2015 was announced. In addition to the legendary Armin van Burren, Axwell & Ingrosso, and Oliver Heldens are scheduled to perform at 808 Festival 2015.
Output Festival Bangkok which was originally scheduled for August is now scheduled for 29 December. Not a lot of details have been released, but expect more information soon.

The two photos above are from DJ Dan and DJ Fameway at RCA Route 66 in Bangkok. You may have noticed that they get much mention in this column each week. Why? Because it is well deserved. They are an awesome DJ team and their multiple long term DJ residencies at some of Bangkok’s top clubs is proof of their ability to rock the house!
